DIFFERENT, but definitely DELICIOUS! Tilapia is an excellent fish. It’s got a great texture & flavor, however, it can get kind of boring. So here’s an awesome recipe that yours truly created from just an idea 🙂
Oh and don’t worry… it’s super easy.
Ingredients: (serves 2)
-4 pieces of tilapia
-About 15 macadamia nuts (you don’t want to go overboard … macadamia nuts are not the kind of nut you want to eat too many of if you’re trying to watch calories)
-Olive oil
-Salt & pepper
-Drop of butter
Directions:
Thoroughly wash and dry the tilapia. Lightly coat with olive oil, salt, & pepper.
Finely chop the macadamia nuts. They are a very buttery nut so they are pretty easy to chop up.
Next, dip one side of the the tilapia into the chopped nuts one at a time. Heat up some olive oil and a drop of butter in a pan, then place the 4 filets in the pan gently. Be careful- tilapia is a very delicate fish.
Let cook for about 2 minutes on each side. Again, be gentle when flipping… use a spatula.
Delizioso!
