What’s for dinner tonight?  Here’s a great recipe that you can make ANY night.  It’s simple, quick, and you don’t need a lot of ingredients.

They are also very good for you!  Did you know that portobello mushrooms have a lot of vitamin D, potassium, and anti-oxidants?  And hey, they’re only 19 calories each!

  • 5 portobello mushroom caps
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Salt & pepper
  • Fresh or dried oregano
  • Crushed red pepper to taste


In a large zip-lock bag, pour in all the ingredients and shake well.  Let marinate for about a half an hour to an hour.


Grill on high heat for about 2-3 minutes a side.

Yep, that’s it.  Simple & easy.  You can eat them plain or even use them to replace the meat in a burger.
