For all of those who couldn’t make it to the Greenwich Wine + Food Festival last weekend, here is a photo recap to catch you up! There were SO many highlights … we don’t even know where to begin. A BIG thank you to Serendipity Magazine for putting on such an amazing event! It’s really an honor to be part of something so powerful.
There were so many vendors that it was impossible to get to them all. But we had the opportunity to meet a lot of really great people, including our new friends at BuonCello. You MUST taste this limoncello .. it’s made right at home in Bethel, CT! Unreal. We also were extremely pleased to try Kathie Lee Gifford’s new wine called Gifft. The red blend was really good – big and bold.
But I think the biggest highlights had to be the chef demo tents and the burger-off. Congrats to PlanB Burger for winning the burger contest!
I was so excited to meet Chef Jean Georges Vongerichten – he’s a brilliant chef! Not only did I get to meet him and talk to him, but we even got to watch him make (and taste!) a delicious sea bass dish with flavors from all over the world. That was [hands down] the highlight of the day. I’ve visited many of his restaurants in NYC and am looking forward to visiting him at the Inn at Pound Ridge.
Chef Anne Burrell’s duck was so delicious … and we now know the importance of duck fat! She was hilarious and entertaining to watch – she’s so REAL. I just love her.
Hope you enjoy the photos! This is an event you CANNOT miss.
