Love Life {and pizza} – Brick + Wood in Fairfield, CT

There are few things on earth that we enjoy more than a good pizza.  We are, without a doubt, pizza snobs.  Oh – and wine.  Can’t forget about wine. We have Jeff’s mother to thank for that… We’ve had pizza & vino everywhere between New Haven and New York City, and from the Italian Alps to Puglia!  We’re happy to report that Brick + Wood delivers an authentic taste of Neapolitan pizza courtesy of their amazingly flavorful dough and expertly crafted brick oven.  It’s all in the name – a brick oven powered by wood. Ingredients: 1 uncooked pizza dough 4 tomatoes, sliced thin Arugula 2 onions, sliced thin (not chopped) Burrata or

Since there’s no way we’d have time to make pizzas the way we usually like to, I decided to get creative. Whelp, it doesn’t get much easier than this.  And they came out AWESOME! Ingredients: 4 whole wheat pita pockets Fresh mozzarella, sliced thinly Extra virgin olive oil Salt & pepper Crushed red pepper Rao’s marinara sauce (jar) Fresh basil Directions:  Preheat the oven to

What better to eat before a day of drinking on St. Patrick’s Day (in Boston non the less), than a breakfast pizza? On Saturday morning of St. Patty’s Day, my best friend Vanessa and I went for a nice long run from her house to Newbury Street in Boston.  After a great run, why not eat?  So we decided to go to Cafeteria Boston, which I highly recommend: We couldn’t decide what to get- there were too many good things! We did decide on a BREAKFAST pizza and a Bloody Mary “one drink, 2 straws”. What is a breakfast pizza you
